I’m the owner of this blog, and I’m a workout guy who’s spent a lifetime into nutrition, strength training, yoga, cycling, running, triathlons, and competitive softball, and I played college baseball as a catcher. I believe in cross-training, and I’m just a normal guy who loves to max out life to its fullest while staying in shape.
I have a lovely wife and two kids, and I work full-time in the IT industry. I’ve spent four decades in sports, weightlifting, and nutrition, and I don’t mind sharing what I’ve learned in the hopes it helps the next person.
My Training Background
I’m also a longtime Beachbody workout fan. I started with the first version of P90X many years ago to keep my competitive edge up in age-group sports after college, which I stuck with for a couple of years before moving to Insanity. I used programs like these to train in the off-season while I was doing triathlons.

From there I went through P90X2, Focus T25, and Bodybeast. I don’t run P90X3 anymore, but I still train consistently — I’ve adjusted my routine to fit where I’m at now in my 50s rather than chasing the same intensity I did in my 20s.
I’m not currently racing — I’ve been dealing with an injury — but it’s something I plan on getting back to. In the meantime I still enjoy cycling and staying active.
That’s just a tad bit about me. Feel free to comment on the blog, or use the contact me page to send me an email.
Take care,
