We will look at what each has to offer as in price, products, online & nutritional help and ways to stream their product. Hopefully, you will be able to make an easy decision after this review.

Gone are the days of purchasing a workout DVD. Remember them? The DVD was great, but you played the same workout day after day after day. With the ability to stream videos, the workouts are always different.

The new fad  is streaming workout videos and that is video with a big “S”. There are so many videos from each website that you can do anything from weight lifting to workouts for pregnant ladies.

How Will I Stream the Videos for My Use?

First, you need to know if you have the electronic ability to stream videos. You will need a good internet connection to start with.

Although you can stream to your cell phone without the internet, you will use up tons of data and your phone bill will skyrocket.

Dailyburn vs Beachbody Features

Comparison in Content

In terms of programs offered, Beach Body on Demand has 40+ programs and over 600 videos while Daily Burn has around 20 programs and over 500 workouts.

Both websites offer high-intensity cardio, yoga, dance, strength training and more. The workouts on Beach Body on Demand are really the cream of the crop.

The videos  on Beach Body are created by some of the most famous personalities in the fitness world such as Shaun T., Tony Horton, and Charlene Johnson.

My favorite video is PiYo workout with Charlene. It is an intense workout without a lot of jumping or weight lifting and is great for those that can’t do high-impact due to physical restrictions.

The Daily Burn videos appear to be done in a classroom like atmosphere, and for me they don’t seem as intense, but they are very versatile. It also seems that this is a bit distracting as I find myself watching others in the class and not the instructor.

The fact remains that Beachbody’s videos give you a harder workout and most last for an hour while Daily Burn videos are anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.

Coaches and Trainers

As far as finding a program that suits your needs, Daily Burn will help you out based on your goals and fitness level from the profile that you create.

You can choose your own Real Coach, (through a program called Vita), for an extra $40 a month. With Vita you get one-on-one guidance and feedback, plus you will be able to track your exercise, weight, and nutrition.

A couple of their coaches are very impressive. We all know Bob Harper from The Biggest Loser. His personal story is one of great inspiration as he is just recovering from open heart surgery.

Beach Body on Demand also offers you a trainer, but they are more for motivation and support as you go through the programs. Although they do not have to have any specific qualifications they are all certified trainers and have a lot of knowledge about the workouts.

If you don’t hit it off with your trainer, you can request a different one at any time. They do a great job of keeping you motivated.

Nutritional Help

It is important while on any workout program that you get on the right nutrition program also. This is a big thing with Beach body so there is a meal plan that fits in with the workout program you decide on.

They want to make sure that you are giving your body the right kind of fuel for the type of workout you’re doing. This will ensure that you will get the results you are looking for.

As for Daily Burn, it does not have a meal plan, but you will have access to their website that has an abundance of nutritional information on it. This will help you figure out a meal plan for yourself.

The Online Community Help

Each of these sites have a community forum of which Beach Body on Demand is the most active. The only problem with so much activity is that it can get to be a bit much with everyone offering their advice on everything.

The Daily Burn community is not as active, so you may have to wait some time to get an answer to a very important question. Don’t give up, they will get back to you.

Which ever website you go with be sure and use the forums offered because you can get a lot of feedback that will help you stay consistent with your workouts. You might just find your next best friend with some of the same problems you are having.

Daily Burn vs Beach Body on Demand, have you made up your mind yet? One more thing to think about, the PRICE!

Comparison on Costs

When doing a basic comparison on the cost of each of the above websites that stream workouts, it looks as if Beach Body on Demand is the best deal.

Although Daily Burn is a base of $14.95 a month, that goes up to $52.95 a month if you want a personal coach. To get full access to everything the price is $64.95 a month. You still get a 30-day free trial and your credit card will not get charged until the 30 days are up.

Each website does offer a program with a 30-day guarantee. If you are unhappy with the program, please keep track of those 30 days so you can cancel before they run out.

With Beach Body on Demand you can get a 3-month plan, 14-day free trial for $39.00, 6-month plan, 30-day moneyback guarantee $59.00 or a 12-month plan, 30-day money back guarantee for $99.00, plus two other options that come with a shake product.

The results for a yearly all access membership would cost you $99 for Beach Body on Demand and about $174 for Daily Burn.

Conclusion

While both of our “streaming friends” have great things to offer, I am leaning toward Beach Body on Demand. Not just because they are the best deal in terms of cost, I really like the one on one trainers in the videos.

Beach Body on Demand still sells 95% of their DVD’s so you can have a physical copy, but Daily Burn does not offer any of their videos in a physical form. I do like that I can still purchase some of my all time favorite DVD’s that I want to give as gifts.

Both have great trainers or coaches and Beachbody offers everyone a qualified trainer while Daily Burn will charge an extra $40 a month for a coach.

While both websites have a community forum, Daily Burn is not as motivational or active as I would like it to be. Service is not that great if you need answers to your questions.

In terms of nutritional knowledge, meal plans and recipes, I like the fact that Beach Body gives you a meal plan to fit with each workout program. This ensures that your body stays in tip top shape during the programs duration.

You have access to nutritional help and recipes on both sites along with their own products they sell that help you stay healthy while working out.

Well, there you have it! Dailyburn vs Beachbody on Demand! Hope that I have shed some light on this subject and it will help you decide which is the best streaming workout videos website that will help you achieve your goals. Which ever site you use, I wish you the best of luck and stay motivated.
